Nice kiosk with soft drinks, coffee and cake, a small snack and a very nice beer garden with a great view of the Pröbstingsee and the jetty for the pedal boats. These can be rented here so that you can enjoy the lake directly. During corona times, a simple and easily practicable concept came up here.

We can only advise against this. The location is very, very appealing, but if you want to sit down to enjoy the atmosphere, you are asked in a very unfriendly way to leave. No consideration is given to whether you can move quickly on the move. In addition, there was also a lie, because at the entrance there was no sign stating what time it was closed and the gate was open. Such unfriendly behavior towards guests and customers is not advisable. You can certainly draw attention to it when the end of the day comes, but then with friendliness and discipline. It is always said that the youth had no behavior, but there wasn't the youth that behaved that way.

We went there spontaneously. It's a school vacation. We immediately got a boat. We had to queue up, of course, with Corona at a safe distance. We drove on the lake for an hour, it was very relaxing. A lot of young people were out and about

We went for a big walk around the lake today. At almost 30 degrees we each took a small bottle of water with us. Our trip was quite spontaneous so that we neither had large bags etc. with us. We paused at the boathouse. Ate french fries there and actually wanted to have a coffee there before we went on. We sit on the terrace. Put our cell phones bottles etc on and around the table and ate our fries. Suddenly the owner came to us very rude and made us very rude how cheeky we were that we would take our own drinks there. When we said yes but we did not eat them at all there was a snippy sentence and reproaches because of the hard time and the boss left. Corona hit everyone hard, so they don't have to tell me anything. Like a small child, she rushed her employees on our necks. Everyone should look at who we are so that we don't do anything, more than unprofessional. That was the end of the cozy sitting together. We didn't get anything else and went. We didn't take a sip from our water !!! At 30 degrees on a tour that a lot of people do at the lake, it's normal to have drinks with us, we didn't have a bag to hide them, but we didn't have to because we didn't have anything to hide. We had bought something from you and never drank ours 👍 By the way, dear boss: There are currently hygiene rules for restaurants. Where was your waitress mask? And you did not keep 1.5m away 🤗

Great place on the lake .. The prices are moderate. The performances are very good. Go here regularly by bike.

First stop when we visit Borken and need a quick break. The furniture is new, the service fast, the drinks cold and everything makes a well-kept impression. The slightly increased price for Tretbödchen (13,00 € / hour) can be earned in the "Kutzurlaub" even. 😉
